The children and adults must dress according to the theme of the year. This years theme is Africa. The children open the floor with dance items and the outstanding couple will be awarded. The event is to raised funds for the local Sunbeam Crèche.

The X-treemFestival is held during the September summer holidays. A firm favourite with the locals, it is hosted annually by the NG Church as a community festival, with the proceeds utilised to support the community and various outreach activities.
